UK law firm Michelmores has appointed Cathy Bryant as a Partner in the Bristol office of its growing national Corporate Team.

Cathy, who takes on the role of Head of Corporate Tax, joins from Blake Morgan LLP and brings extensive experience in the tax aspects of complex corporate transactions. Cathy joins Senior Associate Anthony Reeves in the Corporate Tax team, building on the Firm’s strong expertise in corporate deal tax and share incentive schemes.

Paul Colsell, a local artist, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to create a mural in the heart of Exeter. Known as the Exeter Kindness Mural it will feature the work of celebrated artist and author, Charley Mackesy. A key objective of the project is to celebrate kindness in the city. The mural is to be painted this Summer on the Crossline building in Heavitree Road, clearly visible from St Sidwell's Point Leisure Centre. Wales & West Utilities has launched a partnership with Exeter Community Energy (ECOE) to help people with dementia access appropriate support and advice in relation to their energy and utility bills.

Officers are undertaking searches in the Ludwell Valley Park area of Exeter following a report of a sexual assault having taken place on the afternoon of Sunday 9 April.
