Devon Air Ambulance (DAA) is proud to reach a huge milestone this Summer as 30 years of lifesaving service are to be celebrated at two family-friendly events, the first of which was held on July 10th at Bideford Rugby Football Club and the second will be held at Darts Farm near Topsham on Saturday 13 August.
This family day out marks 3 decades and over 30,000 missions bringing advanced, time-critical care to communities across Devon and is a perfect time for the charity not only to reflect on the past 30 years but also share what the future holds with everyone.

The full event lineup includes the popular Fore Street Flea in the West Quarter as well as events on Sidwell Street in Eastgate and on South Street for the Cathedral Quarter.
The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth has something to keep the whole family entertained this summer, including a summer trail and a new natural play area.
The new play area, located in the heart of the sanctuary, brings children of all ages, social groups and abilities together to use their imaginations, explore and have fun.
Set among a landscaped area, surrounded by native trees, shrubs and plants, the play park offers a safe natural environment for younger members of the family to let their imaginations run free.
Charity litter pickers who volunteered to keep the Plymouth Hoe tidy during and after the 1 Big Summer music festival have received over £7,500 from DCW for their efforts.
Independent South West-based waste management firm, DCW, was contracted to provide waste management services for the three-day event which welcomed up to 15,000 ticket holders each day. In addition to its own staff, DCW invited local litter picker groups and charities to fundraise whilst they litter picked against the backdrop of live music and a buzzing atmosphere.
IKEA Exeter will be hosting the Summer Funhouse event to coincide with the school holidays, which will include a number of free in-store activities, offers and deals for the whole family to enjoy.
Taking place from Monday 11th July – Sunday 14th August 2022, the event includes drop-in and bookable sessions led by IKEA co-workers. Each activity has been designed to promote creativity that is both affordable and fun, by using items that can already be found within the home.
