Over the past three years Orvis UK has introduced over 2,500 people to the sport of fly-fishing with its free “Learn about Fly-Fishing” sessions held at Orvis stores around the UK.
Many of these are new anglers and families learning the sport together, which is a positive and heart-warming sign for the fly-fishing industry.
In 2014 more sessions are planned from now until October and anyone is welcome to attend!

Learn to Fly Fish at Kennick Reservoir, Christow near Exeter
Full Day sessions from 10am to 4pm Starting with the basics of equipment, casting techniques, knots, fly selection, fishing techniques, playing and landing a fish. Also opportunity to fish in the afternoon.
Price includes tuition, loan of all tackle and fishing permit. All places must be booked in advance.
