InExeter announces Markets Programme for 2023

InExeter is pleased to announce the Markets Programme for 2023, which will feature the Fore Street Flea and the return of The Exeter Independent Market.

The Exeter Independent Market is set to take place monthly from April through September, following its successful debut on Cathedral Green in July 2022. With the support of Exeter Cathedral and organised by Markets Manager Lottie Stanley, the market will feature over 60 stalls on the steps at the front of the Cathedral and the West Front. This summer InExeter is delivering a host of markets within Exeter City. Organised by Markets Manager Lottie Stanley, the markets planned showcase the local talent and bring a hive of activity to the Centre of Exeter.

Brand new for Summer 2022 is the launch of The Exeter Independent Market which will take place on Saturday 30th July on Cathedral Green. Supported by the Cathedral itself, the market will host over sixty stalls and will showcase the best and the brightest the Southwest has to offer.

Armed officers to patrol key festive locations across Devon

Police in Devon, Cornwall and Dorset will be patrolling key locations and events over the festive period and the New Year with support from armed officers.

Officers will be visibly carrying long-armed weapons to help offer further security and reassurance during this busy time of the year, as well as having support from our dog unit.
