Local law firm Gilbert Stephens is continuing its support of Ottery St Mary Church by sponsoring a poetry recital by Norman Bowler, alias ‘Frank Tate’ from Emmerdale. The ex-TV soap star will be reading Samuel Taylor Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
Tickets cost £5 and will be available on the door, with proceeds going towards Ottery St Mary Parish Church Funds.

A new music recital series starting this autumn at St Michael’s Church, Mount Dinham, Exeter.
All recitals are free, and they include a wide variety of types and styles of music performed by professional/semi-professional musicians, young performers, local musicians and others.

Wednesday January 15: Emma Graham and Liz Grier: Harpe Noire (music for two harps)
All concerts commence at 7.30pm
A retiring collection will be taken. Proceeds will be used for the work and upkeep of the church.
