The BEST charity pub quiz in Exeter is back in the hall at WESC Foundation on Wednesday 24th September from 7pm. There will be about 20 teams of up to 6 and we are charging £8 per person, but this will include a delicious finger buffet, and a licensed bar will be available. There will be 9 rounds covering topics such as sport, music, history, art & lit, film and current affairs, as well as baffling picture rounds.the event is sponsored by Thomas Westcott and beer is supplied by Exeter Brewery.

Gourmet Dining in the Dark for WESC

At 6.30pm on Thursday 1 May, the Salutation Inn in Topsham, which offers the very best local, regional and seasonal produce cooked by Tom Williams-Hawkes and his brigade to a modern French influenced style, will be hosting a unique gourmet dining event in association with WESC Foundation.

Dining in the Dark - the first of its kind in the South West - will not only raise funds for the vital work being undertaken by WESC Foundation, a specialist centre for visual impairment, but will also give diners a real sense of what it is like to be visually impaired, if only for one evening....

Princesshay unveils new Christmas shopping event

Princesshay Exeter invites Christmas shoppers to a new shopping, fashion and gift event on Thursday 28th November from 5pm to 9pm to enjoy festive treats, fashion advice and competitions as well as late night shopping.

The Light up Your Style evening focuses on fashion and gift advice with roaming models sporting the latest autumn/winter fashion trends, style spotters and photographers taking pictures of Exeter’s fashionistas and choreographed fashion scenes popping up all evening. Radio Exe and Princesshay to spread Christmas cheer

Princesshay is collaborating with Radio Exe this festive season to support its Operation Christmas campaign. Operation Christmas encourages shoppers to buy an extra gift which will be donated to Princesshay’s local charity of the year, WESC Foundation.

There will be dedicated Operation Christmas drop off points throughout Princesshay and at the WESC charity shops in Exmouth and Honiton for shoppers to drop off their chosen gifts. On Christmas Eve all donated gifts will be presented to WESC Foundation.

WESC Foundation calls for entries to Over the Top Charity Challenge

YOU may have driven your car into it, but have you ever fancied abseiling 80ft down Princesshay car park? If the answer is ‘yes’, then you are in luck as WESC Foundation, a specialist centre for visual impairment, is hosting a charity abseil on Saturday 28 September, from 9am until 6pm, where anyone 12 years and over can take part.

The fundraising challenge is being overseen by extreme sports experts Isca Outdoor and last year the event helped raise £6000 for the Exeter-based charity through entry fees and sponsorship.

Princesshay comes alive with dancers, singers and comedians for Dancing in the Streets Festival

Visitors to Princesshay experienced the start of the summer festival vibe on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 of June with dancers, singers and comedians performing throughout each day of the 2013 Dancing in the Streets Festival.

The festival opened with Vibes Dance Company’s rendition of Gentleman by PSY - the mastermind behind the Gangnam Style phenomenon. With over 40 dancers from the company performing in perfect timing and oozing energy.

During National Volunteers' Week, the children and young people at WESC wanted to extend a MASSIVE thanks to the scores of volunteers that work with WESC.
