Club debuts await eight new Exeter Chiefs Women

Eight new players will run out for Exeter Chiefs Women when they travel to Hartpury University Stadium to take on Gloucester-Hartpury on Sunday.

In the first of two pre-season PWR Up Series friendlies for every league club, Chiefs will kick-off at 14:00 against the reigning PWR champions before turning their attention to Bristol Bears at Sandy Park the following Sunday.

Both games offer Chiefs’ coaches a chance to see new, returning and existing squad members in action while international players are away with their home nation teams.

Women in England can now get a first prescription of the pill and repeat orders without having to see a GP, in a move that makes access to free contraception even more convenient.

Pharmacies across the country are now offering the new service, increasing choice for women in the ways in which they can access contraception.

The rollout is part of the government and the NHS’s primary care access recovery plan, which committed to making it quicker and easier for millions of people to access healthcare on their high street.

Walk and Talk is a new initiative in Devon and Cornwall asking women aged 18 and over: “Is there a place you feel unsafe? Take us there”.

Devon & Cornwall Police will be linking up with women in person to understand more about what our region looks like and feels like, seeking to understand more through first-hand experience about the places and spaces where women feel unsafe.

Members of the Devon Work Hub network have been joining forces to host a coworking day for women.
