Dawlish Carnival week is one of Devon's largest seaside carnivals, taking place over 7 days during August. Lots of free fun and entertainment for the whole family!
The Grand Carnival Procession will take place on Friday 16th August. The route runs for about 2½ miles through the town centre and the procession itself can reach up to over a mile in length - taking 1 - 1.5 hours to pass! The fun starts around 7.00pm.

The annual, much anticipated, Dawlish Air Show will take place for the tenth time this August.

The Castle Hill Car Festival is the premier motoring event in the South West and last year featured in Auto Express Magazine as one of 'must do' summer motoring events alongside the Goodwood Revival. The dates for 2014 have been confirmed as Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th August.

An afternoon of fun for all the family featuring performances from Exeter Pipes & Drums, Footlights, Dawlish Dancers, Taekwondo, and live music as well as face painting, balloon modeling, stalls and rides. There will also be competitions for children and adults, from noon-5pm. All free.
