The date of the 2017 Exeter Foundation Big Walk has been confirmed as Saturday, 19th August.
The event will combine walking 10 miles in aid of the charity of the Chiefs' with watching two Exeter Chiefs pre-season games, with the recently crowned Premiership champions playing Cornish Pirates and Newport Gwent Dragons in a double-header.
Sponsored by SW comms, Northcott Beaton, Santander and the Land Rover Experience, the Big Walk starts and finishes at the Sandy Park, and takes in a flat, scenic route through the River Exe Valley.

On September 20th, nearly 100 participants walked 10 miles from Sandy Park, through Exeter’s Riverside Valley Park and back to the Rugby World Cup venue.

With an extremely busy couple of months coming up at Sandy Park, the Exeter Foundation’s annual Big Walk has been postponed until September.
The event will now take place on Sunday, 20th September, coinciding with the opening weekend of the Rugby World Cup.

Over £2,000 has been added to the Exeter Foundation coffers following the highly successful Big Walk 2014 held at the weekend.
