In December 2023 I am setting off to row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean solo.
I will be rowing 2 hours on and 2 hours off 24 hours a day for up to 90 days.
Previous rowers have suffered hallucinations from sleep deprivation and I am sure I will have salt sores on my hands, feet and derrière. In last year's challenge several boats capsized (although the boat is designed to self right) and some had their hulls pierced by Blue Marlin ( swordfish) hunting Tuna.

The Upper Sixth Former represented the GB Rowing Team at the 2017 World Rowing Junior Championships held in Trakai, Lithuania in August.
