Crediton Parish Church Flower Festival
The Crediton Parish Church Flower Festival is one of the main fundraising events for the upkeep of Holy Cross and many people from our parishes work to make it a very special and memorable week.
This year’s festival has the intriguing title ‘What’s the Point…’ and runs from 10.30am on Saturday 3rd June until 5 pm on Thursday 8th June.
Work towards this years’ Flower Festival began as soon as last years’ Festival ended.
The title of last years’ Festival was ‘Outside the Box’, and a big talking point was a car in the church. This 1927 Austin was subsequently decorated with flowers and the unusual sight of the car entering the church can be viewed via a video on Crediton Flower Festival Facebook page.
Other photos are also on the Facebook page, with a few photos copied here to whet your appetite.
If you wish to see the fruits of a years’ planning and the skills of local flower arrangers working to the brief ‘What’s the Point…’ then why not make a date for your diary to come to the Crediton Parish Church Flower Festival.
The Church is on the A377 main Exeter to Barstaple road with a bus stop opposite, and 10min walk from Crediton train station.
