Tom Salt is a local up and coming photographer. At present he lives in Lympstone, having spent his formative years on Dartmoor.

Tom’s passion for photography stems from the beauty of his surroundings living in Devon.

“I believe that  photography is all about trying to show the beauty in the world that so many people take for granted, I take what I see, I want people to realise that whatever, is around them has beauty," he said. "I am not really inspired by anybody in particular, however I admire the work of, James Revilious, Jill Fermanovski, Chris Packham, and Dezzo Hoffman."

This is Tom’s first major Exhibition in Devon, although he has had some of his photographs exhibited at Brooklyn Spaces in New York in the summer of 2013, Tom has also had some of his photographs Galleried in conjunction with Open Art Gallery in Lympstone, for The Open Art Studio.

Tom’s work can be seen at The Picture House in Exeter, at 51 Bartholomew Street West, Exeter between 4 February and 2  March 2014.
