A Message From… Jazz Toast
Jazz Toast celebrates youth music at its most dynamic and experimental. This gig will be bursting at the seams with youthful energy and jazz improvisation, all locked together by the power of groove!
Jazz Project are a MEGA band of young musicians forged from a collective of around 38 Exeter College Music Academy students. In varying shapes and forms, they will be performing funk, fusion, Latin, contemporary jazz, club jazz plus student original compositions and arrangements.
The Theo Brown Trio features Theo Brown (tenor sax), Ozzie Parker (keys) and Kai Craig (drums). These musicians met through the Devon Youth Jazz Orchestra (DYJO) and formed this trio through their shared love of jamming and exploring ideas together. Tonight the trio present a set of original compositions by Theo Brown.
