Teignmouth folk concerts: Paul Metsers
PAUL METSERS is a top rated New Zealand singer/songwriter who moved to the UK in the 1980s and toured extensively.
He quickly became a firm favourite at Folk Clubs and Festivals, helped by his song "Farewell to the Gold"being taken up by Nic Jones, who recorded it on his CD "Penguin's Eggs". Paul stopped touring, apart from the occassional concert, in the 1990s. He is accompanied at this concert by Joe While on Piano. We welcome him to our concert for what should be a memorable evening.
The support act is Amanda Diamond & Eddy Richards. Amanda is a great singer, and Eddy, as well as singing is a fantastic guitarist. They are firm favourites at Clubs and Festivals and have performed at Sidmouth, Towersey, Moira Furnace and Chippenham. They also recently played the support spot at Andy Cutting's concert at Haddenham.
