Bridge Road closure cancelled tonight

Bridge Road in Exeter will remain open this evening (Tuesday 23 February) as a scheduled closure is no longer needed.

A full road closure was originally planned tonight as part of the widening scheme.

However, the traffic management work to establish one lane in each direction was completed last night and therefore the additional closure is not required.

The Glasshouse Lane/Bridge Road junction will be closed from 9am on Wednesday 24 February until 6pm on Saturday 27 February.

The closure will enable utilities diversion work to be carried out, with trenches being dug across the junction.

Temporary pedestrian and cycle paths will be marked across the junction throughout the closure.
