This year’s Lord's Taverners Christmas lunch proved to be another success with 600 business people attending the event at Sandy Park on 6th December.

The fundraising lunch began with a drinks reception, delicious festive meal and the chance to bid in the charity auction.  Auction prizes up for grabs included a box at the Exeter Chiefs, party for up to 75 people at Jack in the Green and private meal cooked by celebrity chef Mitch Tonks, with an invite for 4 people to attend the Lympstone Manor launch party reaching a substantial £2900!

The silent auction went hi-tech this year with tablets provided on each table, enabling guests to watch and bid on an amazing range of prizes throughout the lunch.

After the meal, guests were treated to entertainment by the very funny comedian, Josh Daniels.

David Kirk, partner at Kirk Hills Chartered Accountants and Chair of Devon and Cornwall Lord's Taverners says 'We were overwhelmed by the generosity of the guests and are delighted to achieve a fundraising amount of over £65,000.  This will enable us support even more projects this coming year.  We’d like to thank everyone who came along to support us and for Sandy Park hosting a fantastic afternoon'.
