TUI inspires Exeter Beaver Scout Group at Airport Visit

Fourteen Beaver Scouts from 1st Cranbrook Beavers visited Exeter Airport for a behind the scenes look at some of the airport's most exciting operations and day-to-day activities.

Hosted by TUI, the visit took the Scout’s learning to new heights as they worked towards earning their Air Activities Stage 1 Badge.

Pupils and staff at Exwick Heights Primary School , part of the Ted Wragg Trust are delighted to be the very first school to have taken up the challenge of providing Exeter Foodbank with some artwork for their new home in Cowick Street.

Members of the Art Club at the school put brushes to paper and created some colourful paintings for the foodbank to put on display. The foodbank’s new venue is brilliant but with white walls and grey floors throughout, it did need some cheering up!

Adult learners at Learn Devon were among those who endured the nerve-racking moment of collecting their GCSE results yesterday.

Learn Devon, Devon County Council’s adult education service, offers free GCSE English and maths qualifications, with courses that start in September and in January.
