This year's Christmas Market in Exeter will run from Thursday 21 November until Thursday 19 December, on Cathedral Green. The Christmas lights ceremony will also take place on 21 November from 4pm-8pm, with Rob Baxter, Exeter Chiefs' Head Coach; Paul Tisdale, Manager of Exeter City Football Club and members of the Lympstone Military Wives Choir taking centre stage to jointly switch on the city’s Christmas lights during the event at 6.30pm.

Visitors will be treated to a festive programme of entertainment throughout the event. The Princesshay stage will light up with musical acts including the Exeter University Jazz Orchestra, South West Music Academy and the Lympstone Military Wives Choir.

The Market will be situated all around the Cathedral, and open every day:

Monday to Wednesday
10am to 7pm (bars remain open until 6.45pm)
Thursday to Saturday
10am to 9pm (bars remain open until 8.45pm)
Sunday
11am to 6pm (bars remain open until 5.45pm)

Right at the heart of the city centre, it will bring the Cathedral Green to life, with stalls offering unique, handmade and unusual gifts, decorations and food items – everything needed for a perfect Christmas celebration.

The Exeter Christmas Market will represent the best of what Britain, the South West and the rest of Europe has to offer, with a mix of great food, excellent crafts, unique gifts and decorations.

The Market is run by Market Place Europe Limited. All enquiries from potential stallholders for future markets should be directed to info@marketplaceeurope.co.uk
