Appeal after bus passenger racially abused

Police are keen to speak to the woman pictured following a racially aggravated harassment incident which occurred at a bus stop in High Street, Exeter, just before 5pm on Saturday 6th June.

A woman jumped the queue and when challenged by the victim made a racial remark in response.

Police would like to identify the woman pictured who is described as being a white female, believed aged in her 50’s, approximately 5’6” in height, big build, with curly shoulder length hair, and wearing a top and skirt.

Anyone who either recognises this woman or has any information regarding the incident is asked to contact police on 101 or 101@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk quoting crime reference CR/040384/15.
