Pedestrian dies after collision in Ottery

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a fatal road traffic collision on the B3180 near Daisy Mount, Ottery St Mary last night (Monday 24 November).

The incident happened shortly before 10pm on Monday when a blue Ford Mondeo car was involved in a collision with a male pedestrian outside of the West Hill Nursery.

The pedestrian, a 42-year-old local man, died at the scene following the collision.

He is believed to have been walking along the road at the time of the incident.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time, may have seen the man before the collision or may have witnessed the incident.
