On 5 October, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Garden Rosemoor in Devon will be holding its very own Apple Day, in celebration of the bountiful harvest expected this year at the garden and around the country.
The Rosemoor Apple Day, now in its 20th year, makes for a fun day out for all the family with amazing apple displays, apple pressing and cookery demonstrations, guided walks, children’s activities and plenty of opportunities to taste and buy local apple cultivars, cider and juice from a special apple-themed food market.
Quickes Traditional is celebrating National Apple Day by hosting a seasonal food fair - Sunday 27 October. The Quickes Cheese Shop - in Newton St Cyres, Devon - will welcome visitors to enjoy a selection of Quickes award-winning cheese, artisan foods and of course, a variety of local apples!
