Air ambulance benefits from National Lorry Week

As part of National Lorry Week, the North Devon sub region of the Road Haulage Association presented Devon Air Ambulance’s Fundraising manager Tracey Owen with a cheque for £1500, the proceeds from its Annual Dinner & Dance.

The cheque handover took place last week (21st September) at Exeter Services where Gregory Distribution Limited (GDL) was displaying a 44 trailer especially liveried with Devon Air Ambulance’s night flying campaign message – ‘Help us make night time flight time’.

Go Commando for two great causes

The Royal Marines Commando Challenge takes place on Saturday 8 October with the 4k and 10k, and Sunday 10 October with more 10ks and the 17k.

New role for Air Ambulance pilot

The helicopter pilot who has the longest service record and the most mission flights with a single Air Ambulance charity is to use his vast accumulation of knowledge and experience to become the Safety Manager at Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT).

1,320 kids to race through Exeter streets

A record number of 1,320 primary school pupils across Exeter are set to take to the stage, and complete their own half marathon challenge as part of Exeter’s Great West Run Schools’ Challenge, taking place on Sunday 18 October 2015. Schools from across the city signed up to the 12 week programme, which encouraged pupils to run the equivalent of a mile a week in the lead up to Exeter’s Great West Run. Onelife Training pledges support for Devon's Air Ambulance staff

Devon Air Ambulance Trust is the Charity which raises the funds to keep Devon’s two Air Ambulances flying. DAAT's Heavitree shop to reopen

Devon Air Ambulance Trust is delighted to be reopening their Heavitree, Exeter charity shop on Saturday 6 December at 10am.

Devon Air Ambulance shocked at break in

Staff at Devon Air Ambulance Trust were left distressed and angry after the charity’s retail shop in Cowick Street, Exeter, was burgled on Monday evening.

Thieves got away with a collection box having caused significant damage to the premises including smashing the shop window.
