Exeter School pupils, parents and staff are celebrating another round of consistently excellent GCSE results which have set a new record in excellence.
A record 83.4% were A* or A grades, compared to last year’s 82.5%, and 50.6% of all grades were A*.

In a year group of 101, there was a 30% increase on last year in the number of A* grades, with an A* rate of 26%. Middle Fifth (Year 10) pupil Katie Hayman was awarded first place in the News Reading category of the Digital Days Competition for which she had to film herself reading the news in German.
