New Street Art Map Celebrates 10 Commissions from InExeter

City businesses to vote on Exeter's future

InExeter, the city’s Business Improvement District (BID), has unveiled its 2025-2030 Business Plan ahead of the upcoming BID Ballot in November.

This crucial vote, held every five years as required by BID regulations, will give businesses the opportunity to vote on securing investment for services that benefit the commercial district and the appeal of the city centre.

October 2024 marks 20 years since the anniversary of the first business improvement district pilot, with £1bn invested in local services and events to improve towns and cities for communities and business.

20 BIDs were formed with the original pilot in 2003 and then brought into law with the UK regulations act the following year.

InExeter announces parklet initiative to enhance public space in the heart of the city

InExeter, the business improvement district for the city, is thrilled to unveil plans for the installation of two new ‘parklets’ for the city centre. The Parklets have received £50,000 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and are being commissioned by InExeter .
