Orange is the New Black JAILBREAK

Event Date:
27/02/2015 - 11:15am
Venue:
The world

At the end of February, myself and two other University of Exeter students will be tackling the rain and snow to get as far away from Exeter as possible in just 30 hours! Sounds easy right? Just hop on a train, go to your mums house and have a home cooked meal? Not quite! The catch is that you cannot spend any money, we will be relying on our skills of persuasion to try and hitch a ride or hope that the sight of a girl wearing crutches will make drivers pity us and decide to take us on the ferry. We figured we may as well go full out and set our destination for Australia... Crazy I know...

The club operates a one member one sector policy to ensure no competition between members and this rule would be applied to start-ups applying to join.

"It occurred to us recently that our members have a huge amount of combined...

Baxter: Caldwell is 'raring to go'

Exeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter believes new signing Ryan Caldwell is "raring to go" after adding the Irishman to the playing ranks at Sandy Park. The 29-year-old Irish international, who has agreed a two-year deal, is Baxter's fifth summer recruit so far having already added Thomas Waldrom, Moray Low, Mitch Lees and Tomas Francis to his playing roster for the 2014/15 season. Caldwell's arrival in Devon will offer a welcome boost to his new coach, who this season alone has lost locks Tom Hayes and James Hanks to retirement and Romana Graham to French club side La Rochelle. Baxter said...

Fourth Base Celebrates EP Launch

I speak to local Torquay boys; Jed Tuner, 16, Max Taylor, 17, and Ollie Holdup, 15, on their venture of becoming big in the bay. Fourth base is a new upcoming alternative three piece rock band with plenty of talent to express; they started off busking around the town, then playing at a few events and now they have a line-up of their own gigs. The band recently had their radio debut on ‘Rivera FM’ a local online radio station for Torbay where they played a few of their original songs from their brand new EP.

Here is what the band has to say:

Tell me about your band and what...

The Helmer’s conventional marriage is shaken to the foundations by the revelation of long-kept secrets. Nora’s journey from pretty girl-wife to self-determining woman is one of the theatre’s defining stories.

Plans for a combined total of almost 1,000 new homes in Exeter have been given the go-ahead by the City Council.

The homes were proposed in eight planning applications that were agreed at the two October meetings of the City Council’s Planning Committee.
