Lloyds will be closing temporarily on 15 September for a complete re-fit.

The unveiling of the new brand and official restaurant opening in aid of the restaurant’s designated charity Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) will take place on Thursday 26 September at 10am with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by City Centre Manager John Harvey.

Radio Exe will be joining in the celebrations from 10am – 2pm with representatives from the designated charity ELF.

The godfather of modern cooking, Marco Pierre White, popped in to his new Exeter restaurant where he entertained guests during its official opening.

The Godfather of modern cooking, Marco Pierre White, will be visiting his New York Italian restaurant in Clyst Honiton on Friday 12 July.

Opened in May the restaurant has fast established itself as one of the city’s premier eateries.

New RUBY Modern Diner all set to open a week today

Offering a modern twist to the roots of the American diner, RUBY Modern Diner is set to open its doors on 28th January. Owners Dicky Harrison and Erin Allgrove have spent a year building the Modern Diner concept. An aspiring chef training at the Michael Caines Academy is the first student to open up his own restaurant in Exeter.

Second year student, Ryan Mell, will be opening up his dream restaurant “The Salty Pigeon” on 22nd January 2013, at 29 Magdalen Road, Exeter.
