Research has revealed that children’s lost school jumpers generate over 600 tonnes of plastic waste per year in the South West of England, the equivalent of almost 40 million plastic bottles ending up in landfill.

School jumpers often contain up to 65 percent polyester, which is a type of plastic. With up to 2 million school jumpers lost permanently every year in the South West, these alone are contributing significantly to the 40kg plastic waste generated annually by each household in the UK.

Up and coming professionals at Milsted Langdon’s offices in the South West are jumping for joy after achieving a pass in their recent exams.

To become an accountant, trainees must undergo months of study and career experience to complete their qualifications and pass challenging exams set by some of the UK’s most prestigious professional bodies.

National law firm Browne Jacobson has announced its latest partner, legal director and senior associate promotions which took effect from 1 May 2021. They include:
