A Teignmouth-based media agency has seen rapid growth in both its staff numbers and client base in recent months.

Aquamarine Media Ltd, who specialise in paid search and social media marketing, have expanded from one staff member to four and moved to a bigger office, as they continue to increase their UK-wide client base.

Bumper bonus for Exeter law firm staff

Staff at a leading South West law firm were today celebrating news of a bumper annual bonus. Stephens Scown LLP, which has offices in Exeter, St Austell and Truro, informed its staff that this year’s bonus will be £3,000 – more than double the amount last year when the average payout was £1,300. The bonus applies to everyone, regardless of grade, from secretarial and admin staff up to fee-earning lawyers. Members of staff who have gone the extra mile for patients have received special recognition at the RD&E’s third annual Extraordinary People ‘Winner of Winners’ awards.

Anna Soubry, Minister of State (Minister for Small Business, Industry and Enterprise) for the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, has delivered the government's stance on the plight facing British Home Stores staff.

She delivered the following statement to the House of Commons:

Devon's leading independent trade supplier of tools and equipment to general light industrial businesses has strengthened its management team with a new senior appointment.

Cath Mullin has joined Parkins as its new sales director with a remit to drive the sales strategy forward for the company including all routes to market.

WiFi SPARK, the UK’s fastest growing managed WiFi provider has doubled its workforce in just over year since relocating to Exeter.

Staff give RD&E thumbs up in latest survey

Results from the latest annual NHS Staff Survey show once again that high numbers of RD&E staff would recommend the hospital as a place to work or receive treatment.

The 2015 survey results, released this week, also show that the level of staff satisfaction with the quality of work and patient care they deliver is above the national average for acute trusts. Staff at Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital have raised over £580 for FORCE Cancer Charity during 2015. Staff held raffles, fancy dress and fun days to fundraise this exceptional amount.

The charity was selected as Charity of the Year for a number of reasons, primarily the support they provide for the people of Exeter and surrounding areas who are affected by cancer. FORCE provides all their services via funds generated themselves with no Government funding.

Nuffield Health are also a not-for-profit organisation.

325 years of loyal service from Nuffield Health Exeter staff

Twenty-two employees of Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital, with a combined 325 years of service between them, have picked up long service awards marking their 10, 15, 20 and 35 year anniversaries.

Each recipient will receive a Yearbook which is a personalised brochure filled with unique messages from leaders and team members, a Gift of their choice, and a sterling silver anniversary pin.
