Kids Classes: Hand Embroidery

As part of our Kid's Summer Holiday classes we're hosting a hand embroidery class - a session where you'll be able to learn all sorts of wonderful hand embroidery stitches, and get to grips with these traditional sewing techniques.

Time and Date: Wednesday 17th August, 11am to 12.30pm.

As part of our Kid's Summer Holiday classes we're inviting you to come and decoupage with us! In this session we'll be using pretty paper to decorate one of our cardboard letters - one of our favourite quick to learn crafts.

Time and Date: Wednesday 10th August, 11am to 12.30pm.

As part of our Kid's Summer Holiday classes we're inviting you to come and make necklaces with us! Join us for this 90 minute session in which we'll show you all the techniques you need to know to make yourself one lovely necklace.

As part of our Kid's Summer Holiday classes we're getting ready to sew with felt! Book in to come and play with our Big Shot machine, choose from our big range of shapes and ideas and get sewing! We'll be using hand sewing techniques in the class to make and embellish our chosen creations.

A wild Devon summer for all the family

Devon Wildlife Trust has teamed up with South West Water to offer a range of wildlife events for all ages this summer. The events have both water and wildlife themes and will include rockpool rambles on the coast, and pond-dipping, bug-hunting and wildlife walks at stunning nature reserves.

On Saturday 9 August it was time to pop the popcorn for the eagerly anticipated premiere at Exeter Phoenix of The Sqweakening – the cinematic product of the inaugural Summer Film School.
