Six of the Westcountry's top sports stars will make up the teams for the return of our Question of Sport event, at Sandy Park on Thursday 27th January.

Based around the same successful workings of the hit BBC show, the stars will have their sporting knowledge tested during a series of fun-filled rounds that will be overseen by quizmaster Mark Tyler.

This time around we're going to be welcoming some past favourites as well as some new stars to the panel!

Reminder to "be bright, be seen" on Devon's roads

British Summer Time ends on Sunday 31 October and as well as remembering to put the clocks back, Devon County Council is reminding road users to “be bright, be seen”.

With people travelling to work and school in the dark and in poor weather conditions when visibility is reduced, the council is urging people to take extra care.

Motorists are asked to look out for more vulnerable road users and to give cyclists, motorcyclists and horse riders plenty of space.

With the clocks set to go back on the last Sunday in October (25 Oct), Devon County Council is issuing its annual “be safe, be seen” message to road users.

The authority is reminding everyone to take extra care on Devon’s roads at this time of year, particularly in poor weather conditions when visibility may be reduced.

Cyclists, pedestrians, motorcyclists, and horse riders are encouraged to wear reflective and fluorescent clothing to ensure they can be seen.

Night-time light pollution causes spring to come early

Human use of artificial light is causing Spring to come at least a week early in the UK, researchers at the University of Exeter in Cornwall have found.

Charlotte Harding, her mum, Sue and friend Mouna Souyad all have a very special reason to take part in next month’s Exeter Neon Night Run.

Exeter Hospiscare nurses and doctors cared for their good friend Mary Christopher at the city’s Searle House Hospice.

The Neon Run, on Saturday 28 May, will raise funds for the hospice which is a local charity, helping local people.
