Black pudding recipes from yesteryear!

To celebrate and showcase the black pudding recipes we tested recently with Dr jan Davison for an Oxford Food & Drink Symposium, Rusty Pig is hosting an evening of black pudding and Bourbon cocktails on Friday 13th May.

  • On arrival: Lamb & Rosewater Pudding (Mrs Rundell 1805) with Mint Julip apéritif
  • First course: Rusty pig's own Black Pudding (Rusty Pig 2012) with an Old Fashioned
  • Second course: Black pudding the English way, with a hint of Spain (Patrick Lamb 1726) with Bourbon Mack
  • Third course: Beef & Cheese pudding the Italian way (Robert May 1660) with Aberdeen Angus Cocktail
  • Dessert: Meringues and Bourbon Ceam

Food and cocktails: £45 per person 

Food only: £25 per person
