Do not miss the last chance to glimpse our Nature of Fashion exhibition before the New Year and come and meet Father Christmas in his traditional Victorian green on selected days as he visits Killerton to experience the magic of Christmas.
Wrap up warm and get outdoors exploring Killerton’s historic garden and parkland just outside of Exeter in a whole new light with extended opening on Fridays and Saturdays in December perfect a time to finish your Christmas shopping in our shop. Explore the festive family trail to spot willow reindeer and push open the heavy wooden door into our atmospheric chapel to find our Community Christmas trees decorated by local groups and schools.
Coinciding with the grand opening of the displays, why not try Killerton’s first Night Run. Choose between two way-marked routes under a star spangled sky which take you on a journey around the historic parkland. Suitable for all ages and abilities to run, walk or dance the routes.
There are various things on offer throughout the festive season including wreath making, Christmas lunches, live music, choirs, craft fairs and farmer’s markets. The parkland and garden is open throughout the festive season but Killerton House will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
